Introduction

The PowerShell Modules for Dell storage arrays are PowerShell modules that include various command-lets (cmdlets) that run on Microsoft Windows PowerShell to enable and simplify the automation of Dell storage management activities. Please refer to individual modules’ features page for more information.

Things to note:

1. Some operations such as installation/uninstallation are common to all the modules. If you notice the example/screenshots refer to a module other than what you are concerned with, then it is because they are the same for all the PowerShell modules.
2. For module specific information and gotchas, please refer to the About section under each module.
3. Useful PowerShell tips under Learn lists some useful ways that PowerShell can be leveraged into displaying or piping cmdlet outputs. While the constructs are not unique to any module, some of these might work in some modules. This is because different modules return cmdlet output in different ways and those might not be applicable to all of them.
